My Most Played Games 2023

Last year I wrote a post about my most played games. I mentioned about games I had been playing for over a few years. Now, one and a half years later, with new game releases and a change in lifestyle, my most played games have changed. I have also unknowingly stopped playing a few games because I can't manage as many games as before.

Maplestory R Evolution

Anything Maplestory related, I'll start right when it's released. Maplestory R Evolution is quite different from the other Maplestory games, as it's play style is more casual. Since it's release a couple months ago, I've been playing several times a day. With it's casual play style, I can make time for it even on my most hectic day, by playing during my commute or during my meals.

Maplestory M

I've been playing less of Maplestory M, especially after I finally achieved my first level 200 mid this year and with the release of Maplestory R Evolution. Since I was active during the first half of the year to achieve level 200, I'm considering it one of my most played games of this year.

Au2 Dance

Au2 Dance used to be one of the two games I prioritise, with the other being Maplestory M. I was still quite active earlier this year, but with Maplestory R Evolution, sometimes I forget about this game. I only play because my best friend who introduced this game is still playing and I get reminded when she texts me about new updates or to tell me I've not login for a few days.

Monster Hunter Now

Monster Hunter Now is also a new game that was release only a couple months ago. I didn't start it right away as I only got to know of this game when a friend introduced it to me and waited for awhile before downloading. It is somewhat similar to PokemonGo, blending gameplay with real world and going out to hunt monsters, but less intense.

Clicker Heroes

I used to play Clicker Heroes on the computer a few years ago. With the world opening up, I travelled a lot this year. As all the games I've been playing requires internet connection, I was looking for a game that can be played offline to occupy my time when I have no connection, such as on flights and cruises. I'm quite active on this game, considering the amount of travels, and I do play it occasionally at home.

So those are my most played games for this year. I used to be able to not only manage more games but also play a few games on a daily basis. With the change in lifestyle and priorities after the pandemic, I don't put in as much time as I used to for gaming.
