I drifted off bullet journaling when the pandemic started, because I stayed home for months with fear and eventually fell into a slump. I was called back to work soon after, and my part time job became a full time job.
Fast forward almost two years later, I'm back to bullet journaling, along with my life reset. In my previous two posts, I wrote about why I'm going through a life reset and how I'm doing it.
My current bullet journal is very different from two years ago. I've not only upgraded to the thick dotted notebook, my spreads and designs are also very different now. I have a few past posts of how my bullet journal was like then, so this post will only focus on what's in my current bullet journal.
Gaming levels
The first two pages are level achievements of my two most played games, Maplestory M and Au2 Dance. It's very clear though, that I've been playing Maplestory M a lot more. Although I've already predicted from the start and listed more levels for Maplestory M, I eventually kept my focus on that one character. I still want to continue with the level achievements for that character, so I attached a paper to add in more levels.
Books read
Although I love reading, I'm not an avid reader and I don't prioritise it. Throughout the last few months of using this bullet journal, I've only read two books. I'll be printing and pasting the covers of the books I've read but I'm waiting till I've completed more books to get them printed.
Places to visit list
Other than the two games mentioned above, another of my most played game is PokemonGo, and I enjoy exploring places as I play. So I made a list of places I want to visit. Even in my home country, there are actually so many places I've never visited.
Instagram, blog and youtube lists
The next few pages are for my content creation. Other than this blog, I'm also on several other platforms. For blog and youtube, it's a running list of ideas, which I'll tick for every task I've completed, so one idea will have a row of few ticks. For instagram, I created the boxes in rows of three to curate how my want my feed to look, but with spaces to not make the page cluttered.
Monthly spreads
Up till last month, my monthly spreads had a cover page, habit tracker and calendar spread. I've actually stopped creating the calendar this month, because I've realised I cannot stick to pre plans.
I even tried another way the last two months after I came across the kanban board system. Although I made a twist to it and have it in my bullet journal, I believe it will still not work even if I've done it the actual way with a board hung on the wall.
Weekly spreads
Finally the last spreads in my bullet journal are the weekly spreads. I think I've become a mood person with my emotions controlling my thoughts and actions, that makes me can't pre plan. Although I do the spreads every week, there are days that never get filled out, and once in awhile, an entire week.
I am definitely in a different state of mind with my bullet journal now compared to two years ago. I was more consistent then and as much as I hope for it to be that way, I'll embrace the fact that I'm not in the state for it at the moment.
I think what keeps me wanting to keep up with the bullet journal is my love for stationery and also to have a fixed place for all my ideas, lists, the occasional must do tasks and the few plans when my mood is up for it.
